This fantastic little product allows you to wirelessly send audio from your Mac or PC to your Hi-Fi or stereo speakers. It consists of a USB adapter and a wireless receiver unit. The adapter plugs into your computer; the receiver connects to your Hi-Fi, speakers or headphones using the supplied stereo phono cable, or via a standard 3.5mm stereo audio jack socket. The Ex-Pro HDMI Cat5e Extender allows high-resolution digital video and multi-channel digital audio to be sent between devices at distances of up to 35m using low cost CAT5e/6 cable. For the highest resolutions, at distances of up to 35m, we recommend you use Ex-Pro shielded CAT6 cables. The extender uses two modules - one transmitter and one receiver. The transmitter connects to an HDMI source by means of a standard HDMI cable. The receiver connects to a display in the same way. Between the two modules, a low cost CAT5e/6 cable is used to transmit the video and audio signals. This compact transmitter unit is part of our CAT5e/6 HDMI Extender System range. This modular range of products can be combined together in a variety of configurations to allow high definition video and audio signals to be transmitted over incredibly long distances using readily available and affordable CAT5e/6 network cable or our UTP CAT5e Solid Core cables. For the highest resolutions over long distances, we recommend you use Ex-Pro shielded CAT6 cables.
