How to check - Look at your old unit -- Check the "WATTAGE" If the "W" Watt value is lower than this unit - this unit has a maximum of 65w (so your value needs to be equal or lower than this), then check that the unit covers your Voltage & AMP Rating - (Covered Voltages and MAX amps are Output 4.3amps Max @ 12-16v / 3.5amps @ 18-20v / 2.8amps @ 22-24v). Your amps should also be lower (or matched) so for example this unit at 15v will output a maximum of 3.5amps on this unit - so if your broken unit is 60w, 15v, 3.42a this adapter is then suitable. If your values exceed the maximum the adapter will not have enough power, you need to the move up to our next adapter, Ex-Pro 90w or 120w units instead.
